I just read an article on Sphere that told of all the pain and stress which is occurring in Peshawar, Pakistan with the constant war. You know what, I do believe there are innocent people living there who are caught up in the horrors of war and my heart bleeds for them... Seriously!
BUT... I only have so much blood to bleed and I have to be honest with you all... Although I wish these people could live in peace, not experiencing the torment and pain of war in their every day life and never have to experience the loss of another loved one due to the heathenish fighting, robbing and killing of their own people in the name of God... I also wish they would simply all kill one another at the same instant and the Middle East would finally...for the first time be at peace. This however will never happen for they have been fighting since the dawn of time and for some reason, they want to kill anyone that does not believe exactly what they do.
I don't understand how they can claim such psychological trauma when they don't really know anything else...I mean they grew up seeing this every day of their lives and you would think it would be life as usual, no matter what happened...yet there are documented cases of such psychological trauma.
One particular case highlights the dangers that young people face when they are exposed to constant violence. Abdullah, a 17-year-old student from the Swat valley, used to be a normal, outgoing teenager, says his father. But in early 2008, things began to change. After months of violence and uncertainty in Swat, once considered Pakistan's tourist Mecca, Abdullah began to show signs of psychological trauma. "We didn't realize what was happening at the time," says his father. "He became withdrawn and angry. He stopped listening to his mother and would even yell at her, something he never did before." When the Pakistani army began its major offensive in Swat in the spring of 2009, Abdullah disappeared, and friends told the family he had joined the Taliban."We were in shock," says his father. "My son had never held a gun in his life. He was peaceful and fun-loving, but all this killing ... it changed him." Fortunately for his family, when the fighting peaked, Abdullah escaped the Taliban and returned to his family. They then moved to Peshawar, where they've spent the last nine months rehabilitating their son.
Sound familiar??? Why did he need to escape the Taliban??? He ran off and joined it, leaving his family behind... Killing innocent people until he was tired of it or the ones he was with disbanded due to losing and will reunite later... As I've said many times... NEVER TRUST A TOWEL HEAD!!

Look...Look...Look...The illustrious Rod Blagojevich, the excommunicated Illinois Governor is playing the part of a duck! He looks rather calm on the surface as the little paddler is back peddling for all he's worth under the surface and in the news! He once again proved to be the dumbest Pollock on the block...saying he is blacker than PinnocchiObama... And then trying to make it look like it was a metaphorical mistake spoken in frustration, "because the policies of this new administration still haven't really been focusing on the great deal of inequities we have in our society." Bullshit! He said, "I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived... I saw it all growing up." Now if that's not like saying he's more like those in the black African American community than that "light-skinned African-American with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one", then I'd say I positively missed my guess.

Once again we've discovered Chinese shit that is capable of killing our kids and some adults. It appears that we've become "so good at discovering lead and melamine" that the Chinese had to find another silent killer to thin the American herd. Now it appears to be cadmiun....

THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER... This one is a little different...Two Different Versions...Two Different Morals.

OLD VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away... Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION:
The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving. CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so? Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.' ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the group singing, we shall overcome. Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake. President Obama condemns the ant and blames President Bush, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight.Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share. Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper. The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ants food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it. The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again. The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and once peaceful, neighborhood.The entire Nation collapses, bringing the rest of the free world with it.


MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2010.

Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9, had a few liberals in the mix, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake.. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values...!

Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. Joining Texas, Montana and Utah as the only states to do so. More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi, Florida. Save your confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again..

The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns... Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a set back for the criminals (and Obamaites). Liberals didn't like it -- But....

Just this month, my state has voted and passed a law that ALL driver's license exams will be printed in English, and only English, and no other language. We have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of our road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma, you must read and write English. Really simple.By the way, Obama does not like any of this.
Guess what....who cares... Oklahoma is doing it anyway.
