More About being a Pissed off Patriot

Remember that I am of many culteral decents; French, German, Dutch Mennonite, American Indian and certified Hellion. I have a very healthy and comfortable relationship with God, but do not mingle with the church going wolves in sheep's clothing. ALSO, if I use a derogatory term to describe someone, remember it is only an expletive in today's dialect and often not my true feelings toward the person it describes. You know..."When in Rome...do as the Romans." In my case usually..."When in Rome...Piss them off."

Monday, Jan. 18th... Massachusetts Holds A Critical Key to Our Future in Health Care...

Massachusetts residence are the ones who really hold the gold key to the nations health care future...and I wonder if there is enough emphasis placed upon that and if the right people are making sure the fact is getting out to and before the public.
If Martha Coakley wins decisively... it's all over for us and the house will surely sign the Senate bill after some changes to appease oponents.
Likewise, if either Coakley or Scott Brown wins in a "too close to call" race, it will give the opposition enough time to push for a re-count, which will also seal our fate, because the Democrats will use this time to push for passage before Brown could possibly take his seat.
Likewise if there is a decisive win by Brown...The white house will apply full pressure and speed to the house to pass the Senate's version without any changes...and if so, the approved package could be on PinocchiObama's desk this week for immediate signing by him.
Some members of the house hate some of the Senate measures, like the excise tax that would crush middle-class workers and the Senates "unacceptable abortion language" which they could never support. You just never know how severe the leverage could become for the opposition by the whithouse, causing a speedy passage.

The fact that PinocchiObama was aggressively campaigning for Coakley Sunday evening shows that the white house is worried about the importance of Ted Kennedy's empty Democratic seat. Also, the fact that those moderates like Ben Nelson, whose approval rating in Nebraska plunged after he worked a deal for his state and voted for the Senate bill, will have to calculate whether voting for health reform will cost them their seats in November. Who wants free health care if it kills you in the end anyway? The democrats are feverishly waiting on Wednesday, knowing that a Brown win would upset their world as the Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for 47 years could belong to a Republican. If that happens, the lost seat would also equate to the lost Kennedy's "cause of his life", to be riddled and defiled by partisan politics, possibly not passing at all.
Now in my way of thinking... that's the best thing that could have come out of the great Kennedy's untimely passing.
